Planning Process:
Firstly, I really never looked through a bridal magazine or thought about color schemes until a couple of months ago. Some women do it for fun and plan out their wedding before they get married. I was thinking that it would be a great idea to have a very casual engagement party, probably at my parents house considering that my apartment and my fiance's apartment are not very big and it is a lot cheaper than getting a room at a restaurant. I am not so good at planning parties, my parents are much better at that. While planning the party, I also have to complete my coursework for grad school, work full time and we're moving in together and have to find a place. I also am trying to sell my condo. o_O I may elect to have my engagement party on my birthday so that I don't have to worry about having to plan another event.
Everything will work out. I am so happy to be with my fiance', meeting him was the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Ideas:
1. The bridal party should focus on proper nutrition instead of dieting.
2. I don't really want to do bridal boot camp...Insanity worked just fine for me and I like the privacy of my own home. I may change my mind later, but I don't have a lot to lose.
3. Fall wedding... what color scheme? I think I should hire a wedding planner but I was thinking a reddish orange bridesmaid dress would be nice. It's hard to find a color that would look good on a wide variety of skin tones and fit into a Fall wedding scheme.
4. Wedding favors should be something environmentally friendly, like herb seeds. I would say a small tree but many people live in apartments and the cost could be very high...small candles
